I participated in the 2012 Young Engineers & Scientists Program at Southwest Research Institute (SWRI). On my application and in the interview for the program I discussed my pellet gun experiment and my interests in science and mathematics. My experience in SWRI motivated me to undertake my independent research study on kevlar and blunt force trauma.
